Project description:
Significant improvements have been made in the waste management sector in Hunan/China over the last years. For example, most larger cities are aggressively moving towards sanitary land filling as their main disposal option. Improved landfill operations and increased availability is likely China's most pressing waste management need. This report intends to contribute to the hospital waste dialogue in China. The report was initiated and financed by the GTZ and shows the current situation of waste treatment systems. The main questions this report tries to answer are:
- what is the current situation of the health care waste treatment in Hunan?
- what kind of technologies are been used in managing the health care waste?
